Fetal Ultrasound
Fetal Sonogram:
The fetal sonogram can be performed abdomenal or vaginal depending upon the
gestational age of the fetus. This examination will include fetal measurement, anatomy screening,
gender determination, (after 16 weeks) position, placenta location, and amniotic fluid volume
assessment. A video tape with audio narration, pictures, and a report are included for no additional
fee.
A patient of LRD can expect to be seen in a warm environment and in a punctual fashion. LRD Scan always includes:
- Thorough fetal anatomy screening
- Fetal measurements
- Placenta location
- Amniotic fluid volume assessment
- * if desired accurate fetal gender determination
A report of all findings are forwarded to the physician, midwife, or clinic overseeing the patient's
pregnancy.
